Always check your actual account balance and transaction history directly in the app before acting on any claim about money you supposedly received.
Fake customer support numbers found through search ads or social media, set up specifically to harvest your login details when you call for help.
Only ever use the official in-app support contact, never a number found through a general search.
Report it immediately through the app's official support channel and to the EFCC, and keep screenshots of the entire conversation — fintech providers can sometimes reverse a transfer if reported within hours, but rarely after.
